Chef Sebastian Simon combines natural Australian sea salt flakes with locally produced Shiraz wine, smokes the blend to draw out its richest qualities, then ages it in oak barrels to deepen and lock in those complex wine characteristics. The result is a smoked red wine salt with a rich, full-bodied flavour that adds a decadent, restaurant-quality finish to food.

How to use Smoked Shiraz Salt:

  • Finish a beef fillet, lamb rack, or slow-braised short rib just before serving
